۞ History:
Right here.

۞ Personality:

Once upon a time, every little girl, small or tall, dreamed of becoming a princess.

Charlotte just never grew out of it.

Also known as Lottie to her closest friends, Charlotte is a Southern debutante who likes pretty clothes, fairy tales, pink and princes. She was born to her father, "Big Daddy" La Bouff, who was a sugar baron in 1920's New Orleans, and needless to say, lived the high life from the day she was born. Charlotte was her father's little princess, and took spoiled rotten to a whole new level--all she had to do was point, and her father would fall right over and buy her anything she wished for, from puppies to flowers to every princess dress she could get her chubby hands on. That attitude hasn't quite left Charlotte--she's still quite spoiled and impulsive, but it's been shown that she cares deeply about her friends. Despite being the “sidekick”, she’s incredibly compassionate about the people who get close to her.  . In particular, Charlotte goes out of her way and leaves her 'prince' in order to take care of Tiana when something goes wrong--and later, when she has the opportunity to marry Prince Naveen ( and at the same time, break up Tiana and Naveen's suddenly blooming relationship), she turns it down in order to see her friend happy.

Charlotte is also a stereotypical Southerner. She's loud and speaks with a Charleston drawl, with more Southernisms than you can shake a stick at, and her hospitality is a major part of her personality. Although she often does it without thinking first (daddy's permission? Who needs that?), Charlotte's always willing to extend a hand to help, monetarily or otherwise; it’s Charlotte who passes on the extra money by asking for a giant order of beignets for Tiana to get her own restaurant. Although she didn’t do it simply for that altruistic reason--it was for the supposedly “man catchin’” beignets that were going to win her the prince Naveen when he came to her father’s masquerade, Charlotte didn’t hesitate in making sure that Tiana got more than enough for the work she was going to put in. She has a giant heart and a decently large wallet, and they go together really well.

Charlotte is energetic and easily excited about the things that interest her, but easily bored by the things that don't, and that can range from food to boys to clothes to the daily news. She talks quickly and with as many Southern euphemisms as you can imagine, and when she gets excited, it takes nothing short of shoving a piece of food in her mouth to shut her up. Lottie's a socialite and loves going to balls for two reasons--the first, is to spend time with as many people as she can, like a proper debutante. The second would be the chance to get pretty; there's nothing quite like getting gussied up, especially for a potential suitor. Charlotte has a flair for the dramatic in these situations, to the point of drawing a beauty mark on her cheek and throwing glitter in order to draw every eye in the room (and particularly, her prince's ). To be perfectly honest, Lottie can be dramatic about just about everything, and she's not above throwing a fit when she doesn't get what she wants, even as a grown up--but these fits are fewer in number they used to be, and nowadays they seem to apply mostly to her love life. Charlotte's impatient and likes instant gratification for obvious reasons, and tends to get hysterical when things start to take too long. She's a touch idealistic and longs for her fairy tale above anything in the world--Charlotte wishes on the evening star often, and as a child, she'd talk about kissing a hundred frogs if it meant she could have herself a prince.

۞ Magical Powers, Skills, and Weapons:
Absolutely nothing. :D

۞ Other Abilities:

Charlotte is an expert as using her charm to get what she wants, be it through a pout or the right turn of phrase. Beyond that, she's kind of a spoiled princess, and most of the things she could have learned how to do, she had people do for her. Most of her hobbies err on the side of makeup and dresses.

۞ Third Person Sample:

Arriving in a place that was literally a fairy tale was sort of what Charlotte La Bouff had always dreamed of. The Kingdom of Forever After had everything she could have ever dreamed of. Magical creatures, beautiful castles, Snow Whiteesque mirrors--anything that Charlotte had heard in Tia's mother's stories was here, right in front of her.  But there was one very, very very distinct thing missing.

And that was a prince.

There was no such thing as a fairy tale without a prince! Charlotte practically had the books memorized--heck, she'd seen a fairy tale happen right in front of her eyes, and Prince Naveen had been the most dashing, charming, perfect prince she'd ever met, especially for Tia. But neither of them were here now, and Charlotte was on her own to find herself her perfect Prince Charming.
